Goodness, check these babies out! I have never had much success growing sunflowers till now. I planted the seeds into mushroom compost. They're in the sunniest position of the property, getting full sun for around 8 hours a day. And ofcourse, the weather here is ideal, perfect sunny weather intermingled with bursts of rain. These have got to be the happiest flowers ever!

Like you said, it is ideal weather for them. Just looking at them brings one in a sunny mood!!!
