My Mum, who visited recently, bravely exclaimed two night before she was to leave that she really was disappointed she never got to see Strangles the Python on this trip. S/he hadn't been seen for months. Anyway, this glorious creature turned up as if s/he heard the call! What a thrill for Mum!

Yeah, she was tentative, just like I was the first time over 12 months ago when we moved into this house. But now we've seen Strangles half a dozen times or so and I'm totally at ease with having it around.
